Asian Grilled Pork Chops

Ingredients
- 6 Pork loin chops, about ¾-inch thick
- 4 Tbsp. Fish sauce
- 2 Tbsp. Soy sauce
- 4 tsp. Brown sugar
- 4 tsp. Lemongrass puree or minced fresh lemongrass (bottom 3- inches of the stalk)
- 4 Cloves peeled garlic
- ¼ C. Mint leaves
- 2 tsp. Grated or mined ginger
- 2 tsp. Chili garlic sauce or sambal
- 2 Tbsp. Vegetable oil
- ¼ C. Chinese rice wine
Instructions
Combine all ingredients, except the Pork, in a blender and puree until smooth.
Place pork chops in a container, or zipper top plastic bag, and pour in prepared marinade and refrigerate for 1 hour or overnight.
Preheat an outdoor grill for medium heat. Remove the pork chops from the marinade, and discard the marinade.
Grill chops on the grill ,about 8 to 10 minutes per side turning once, until meat is browned and longer pink inside. A meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of a chop should read at least 145 degrees F.
Let the chops rest for about 5 minutes.
