Eat, Drink, and Celebrate this Labor Day!

What does celebrating Labor Day mean to you?

You might know that Labor Day is a federal holiday that is annually observed on the first Monday of September. It was created by the labor movement in the late 19th century and pays tribute to the contributions and achievements of American workers to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country. You might not know that it officially became a federal holiday way back in 1894 and that New York City and other locales across America still host parades and celebrations to commemorate the day.

Here at Oliver’s, along with honoring the history and traditions of the holiday, we use Labor Day as an opportunity to recognize and thank our employee owners for all that they do to make Oliver’s what it is.

” Oliver’s Market is nothing without our hardworking and dedicated employees. We are incredibly grateful to them, for no matter the challenge they have seen us through. To our employees, the reason for our success, thank you for all you do.” – Steve Maass, Oliver’s Market founder and president
