Classic BBQ Baby Back Ribs

A BBQ on Labor Day weekend harkens the unofficial end of summer, and what could make a BBQ better than Baby Back Ribs*? Cook these ribs slow and low on the grill for maximum tenderness.

  • Serves: 6 servings
  • Prep Time: 10 minutes
  • Cook Time: 1 hour

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds Baby Back Ribs
  • 3 tablespoons Oliver’s Own Rub Potion #9
  • 1 cup Kinder's BBQ Sauce
  • 1 sheet aluminum foil

Instructions

  1. Rub the ribs with the Rub Potion #9 until evenly coated. Massage rub into the meat briefly to ensure even seasoning.

  2. If using a gas grill, place foil on bottom rack to catch drippings and prevent flare-ups. Place ribs on upper rack, turn grill heat to low and close lid; leave for 1 hour, without lifting lid during this time. If using briquettes, place on grill away from coals. Cover and cook for 1 hour without opening.

  3. Before serving, brush with Oliver’s BBQ sauce and grill an additional 5 minutes. Allow to rest before serving.
