Classic BBQ Baby Back Ribs

Nothing says summer like tender, fall-off-the-bone baby back ribs smothered in Oliver’s Own BBQ Sauce. Sweet, smoky, and finger-lickin’ good—this recipe brings bold flavor straight to your grill.

  • Serves: 6 servings
  • Prep Time: 10 minutes
  • Cook Time: 1 hour

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds Baby Back Ribs
  • 3 tablespoons Oliver’s Own Rub Potion #9
  • 1 cup Oliver's Own BBQ Sauce
  • 1 sheet aluminum foil

Instructions

  1. Preheat a gas grill for high heat, or arrange charcoal briquettes on one side of the barbeque. Lightly oil the grate.

  2. Trim the membrane sheath from the back of each rack. Run a small, sharp knife between the membrane and each rib, and snip off the membrane as much as possible.

  3. If using a gas grill, Reduce gas heat to low and close the lid; cook ribs, undisturbed as possible, until meat pulls away easily from the bone, about 1 hour. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read 145 degrees. If using briquettes, place on grill away from coals. Cover and cook for 1 hour without opening.

  4. Before serving, brush with BBQ sauce and grill an additional 5 minutes. Allow to rest before serving.
