Simple Steak Kabobs

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Cubed Top Sirloin Steak
  • 2 Tbsp. Olive oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp. Dried oregano or thyme
  • 1 Tbsp. Fresh lemon juice
  • ½ tsp. Salt
  • ¼ tsp. Black pepper

Instructions

  1. Toss the top sirloin cubes with the olive oil, minced garlic, dried herbs, fresh lemon juice, salt, and black pepper, then let the mixture marinate at room temperature for 15 minutes.

  2. While the meat marinates, preheat your outdoor grill to medium-high heat or turn your oven broiler to high.

  3. Thread the seasoned beef cubes onto metal or soaked wooden skewers, leaving a tiny bit of space between each piece to ensure a proper sear.

  4. Grill or broil the skewers for 2 to 3 minutes per side—about 4 to 6 minutes total—until a beautiful brown crust forms and the interior reaches medium-rare.

  5. Remove the skewers from the heat and let the meat rest for 3 minutes before serving.

  6. Goes Great with Swiss Fondue!
