Bacon & Pear Grilled Cheese
This is comfort food at its finest, with some added Fall flair! Salty bacon, crisp pears and melty cheese, doesn’t that sound delicious?!
- 2 slices Sourdough bread
- 2 slices Gouda cheese
- 2 slices Havarti cheese
- 3 slices bacon
- 1 Bosc Pear, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter
Cook bacon until crispy and set aside, leaving drippings in pan. Add pear slices to warm pan and cook until just heated through. Remove from pan and set aside.
Heat griddle or panini press to medium. Spread butter on one side of one slice of bread and place butterside down on griddle; arrange cheese, pear slices, and bacon on bread. Butter second bread slice like first, and top sandwich, butterside up. Flip when golden on bottom; remove from pan when golden on both sides and cheese is melted.
