Reheating Your Oliver’s Holiday Meal

A holiday meal can sometimes be more stressful than it is fun, especially if you’re on the hook to cook. If you’re like us and just want to enjoy the holidays, then you’ve reduced the stress and upped the flavor with a freshly prepared, completely delicious holiday meal from Oliver’s! This fabulous selection of holiday favorites is certainly key to an easy holiday prep, but even the simplest of holiday feasts won’t reheat itself. Luckily, we’ve broken down how to reheat even the largest of our holiday meals, so you can truly enjoy the holiday in stress-free fashion and gourmet style!

TURKEYS

Remove plastic and cover with foil prior to placing in oven. For a crisp brown crust, remove foil halfway through. Do not over-cook your turkey. Cooking times may vary depending upon your oven.

*ALL BIRDS HAVE BEEN LIGHTLY BRINED, SEASON TO TASTE.

  • Small (8–10 lb.): Preheat oven to 325° F and place bird in center of oven. Heat for approx. 1.5–1.75 hours. Test temperature with a thermometer. Pull from oven when breast reaches 165° F
  • Medium (10–12 lb.): Preheat oven to 325° F and place bird in center of oven. Heat for approx. 1.75–2.25 hours. Test temperature with a thermometer. Pull from oven when breast reaches 165° F
  • Large (12–14 lb.): Preheat oven to 325° F and place bird in center of oven. Heat for approx. 2–2.5 hours. Test temperature with a thermometer. Pull from oven when breast reaches 165° F
  • Extra Large (14–16 lb.): Preheat oven to 325° F and place bird in center of oven. Heat for approx. 2.25–2.75 hours. Test temperature with a thermometer. Pull from oven when breast reaches 165° F

OTHER MEATS

Prime Rib: Preheat oven to 325° F. For small rib heat 45 minutes. For a large rib heat for 1.5 hours. All ribs are cooked to a rare state. If you like your rib well done please feel free to cook it a little longer. Keep it covered while cooking to ensure moistness. For a crisp top, pull the foil off for the last 15 minutes.

Baked Ham: Preheat oven to 350° F. Remove foil. Small ham heat for 30 minutes, large ham heat for 1 hour.

Celebration Roast: Preheat oven to 350° F. Remove plastic packaging and coat roast with oil. Place roast in oiled baking pan. Add about 2 tablespoons of water to the baking pan and cover pan tightly with lid or foil. Bake for 45 minutes, remove lid or foil and bake until roast is heated to 165° F, about 15 minutes. Mushroom Gravy: Add contents of gravy packet and 2 cups water to a medium-sized saucepan. Cook while stirring on medium-high heat until gravy thickens, about 4 minutes.

SIDE DISHES

Stuffing: In microwave oven, remove lid and microwave for 2 minutes, turn and microwave again for 2 minutes. In conventional oven, remove lid and heat for approx. 20–30 minutes at 325º F.

Mashed Potatoes: In microwave oven, remove lid and microwave for 2 minutes, turn and microwave again for 2 minutes. In conventional oven, remove lid and heat for approx. 20–30 minutes at 325º F.

Gravy: Place in pot on stove and bring to a simmer over medium heat.

Vegetables: In microwave oven, Remove the lid and place in microwave for 2–3 minutes. In conventional oven, remove lid and heat for approximately 15–20 minutes at 325º F.

TURKEY GRAVY
Turkey Stock, Chicken Broth, Onion, Celery, Flour, Corn Starch, Butter, Chicken Fat, Sea Salt, Cultured Dextrose, Malt Extract, Thyme, Rosemary, Sage, Black Pepper

CRANBERRY SAUCE
Fresh Cranberries, Brown Sugar, Orange Juice Concentrate, Cinnamon.

PULL-A-PART ROLLS

  1. To quickly cool your food, and to cut down on waste once it’s defrosted (you don’t want to reheat and re-freeze, as Oliver notes, portion it . So, why not spend those extra few hours the day before Thanksgiving or Christmas to prepare the most flavorful gravy of your life.
