Pizza Pasta


  • 1/2 lb. Ground beef
  • 1/2 lb. Bulk Italian sausage
  • 1/2 C. Chopped sweet onion
  • 4 Cans (8 oz. each) tomato sauce
  • 3 oz. Sliced pepperoni
  • 1 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 2 tsp. Minced fresh parsley or 1/2 tsp. dried parsley flakes
  • 2 tsp. Minced fresh basil or 1/2 tsp. dried basil
  • 1 Package Oliver's Own Pasta of Choice
  • 3 Tbsp. Grated Parmesan cheese


  1. In a large nonstick skillet, cook beef and sausage with onion over medium-high heat until no longer pink, 5-7 minutes; crumble meat.

  2. Stir in tomato sauce, pepperoni, sugar and herbs; bring to a boil.

  3. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, until thickened, 20-25 minutes.

  4. Meanwhile, in a 6-qt. stockpot, cook pasta according to package directions; drain and return to pot.

  5. Toss with sauce. Sprinkle with cheese.
