Fettuccine with Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 1 Package Oliver's Own Linguini
  • 2-1/2 lb. Fresh broccoli
  • 2 Cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/3 C. Olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp. Butter
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 1/4 tsp. Pepper
  • Pinch cayenne pepper
  • Grated Romano or Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions.

  2. Cut florets and tender parts of broccoli stems into bite-sized pieces.

  3. In a large cast-iron or other heavy skillet, sauté broccoli with garlic, oil, butter, salt, pepper and cayenne over medium heat until just tender, 10 minutes, stirring frequently.

  4. Place hot pasta in a serving dish; top with the broccoli mixture. Sprinkle with cheese.
