Oliver’s Own Rigatoni with Tomato Basil Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 (12 oz) package Oliver’s Own Rigatoni Pasta
- 1 jar (1 lb 9 oz) Oliver’s Own Organic Tomato Basil Pasta Sauce
- 1–2 tbsp olive oil (optional)
- Salt, for pasta water
- Freshly grated Parmesan (optional)
- Fresh basil or cracked black pepper (optional)
Instructions
Bring a large pot of generously salted water to a rolling boil. Add the 12 oz rigatoni and cook according to package directions until al dente.
While the pasta cooks, pour the entire 1 lb 9 oz jar of Tomato Basil Pasta Sauce into a saucepan. Warm over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until heated through (about 5–7 minutes).
Before draining, scoop out ½ cup of pasta water and set aside.
Drain the rigatoni and return it to the pot. Pour the warm sauce over the pasta and toss well to coat.
If needed, add a splash of reserved pasta water to loosen and help the sauce cling to the pasta.Drizzle with a little olive oil if desired. Top with Parmesan, fresh basil, or cracked black pepper.
