Blueberry Sauce

Ingredients

  • ¼ C. Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. Cornstarch
  • Pinch of salt
  • ½ C. Water
  • 1 Tbsp. Lemon juice
  • 3 C. Fresh blueberries
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, whisk together the sugar, cornstarch and salt. Stir in water, lemon juice and blueberries.

  2. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, until mixture begins to thicken.

  3. Cook and stir for 2-3 minutes more. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.

  4. Serve warm or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
