- 1 (750ml) bottle Torresella Prosecco Rosé, well-chilled
- 2 lb. Fresh Strawberries, washed & hulled
- 1 (750ml) bottle Vodka
- 1 1/2 c. Sugar
- 2 sterile Resealable Quart Jars
To make the strawberry cordial, place prepared strawberries in the bottom of resealable jar pour vodka overtop. Seal jar tightly, and leave in a dark, cool space for at least 1 week or up to 6 weeks. When ready to use, strain into second jar to remove strawberries.
Combine sugar, strained strawberries, and 1 1/2 cups cold water in a saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes or until liquid has reduced slightly, then remove from heat and cool. Strain cooled strawberry syrup into cordial and mix to combine. Seal tightly and store in the freezer to use as-needed.
To make cocktail, add 1 to 2 ounces Strawberry Cordial to a champagne glass; top with Torresella Prosecco Rosé.
