Star Spangled S’mores

What’s red, white, and blue and oh-so yummy? This Star-Spangled S’mores recipe! These s’mores are made in the kitchen, and can be prepped beforehand and finished right before serving. They are the perfect finale to your Fourth of July celebration!

  • Serves: 8 servings
  • Prep Time: 20 minutes
  • Cook Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • cooking spray, for pan
  • 1-12 ounce bag Jet Puffed Regular Marshmallows
  • red food coloring
  • blue food coloring
  • 16 Honey Maid Graham Crackers squares
  • 1 Hershey’s Milk Chocolate King Size Bar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350° and grease a small baking pan with cooking spray.

  2. In a medium pot melt marshmallows completely. Working quickly, divide into three bowls. Dye one bowl red and another blue with food coloring.

  3. Pour red marshmallow into prepared pan, then blue, and then white. Spray a small knife with cooking spray (this helps the marshmallow from sticking!) and run it through the marshmallow layers to marble it. Let cool.

  4. Meanwhile, place half of the graham cracker squares on a small baking sheet and top with chocolate squares. Bake until just starting to melt, 5 minutes. Cut marshmallows into squares and place on top of melted chocolate then top with remaining graham cracker squares. Serve immediately.
