Redemption Rye Sazerac

  • 3 oz. Redemption Rye Whiskey
  • Peychaud's Bitters
  • 3 drops Absinthe or Herbsaint
  • Lemon Twist
  • 1 Sugar Cube


  1. Fill an old-fashioned glass with ice and allow to chill. In a mixing glass, lash sugar cube with bitters until completely saturated; muddle to crush the sugar cube. Add rye whiskey and stir to blend.

  2. Discard ice from glass. Add Absinthe or Herbsaint to glass and swirl to coat; discard remaining liquid. Pour in whiskey mixture and garnish with lemon to finish.
