- 2 oz. Basil Hayden Bourbon Whiskey
- 1 Sugar Cube
- 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
- Orange Peel, for garnish
Place the sugar cube in the bottom of a rocks glass and lash with 2 dashes of bitters. Mix with one bar spoon of water and muddle until sugar is completely dissolved. Add bourbon and stir.
To finish, add one large ice cube. Allow to sit for half a minute to dilute slightly, then add orange peel and serve.
