“Plantastic” Protein Smoothie

This plant-powered protein smoothie is the perfect follow-up for a hard workout. Loaded with chia seeds and your favorite nut butter, this chocolate smoothie is definitely healthy but tastes more like a milkshake. Add it your post-workout routine or enjoy it as a filling meal on-the-go.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 Frozen Bananas
  • 1 tsp. Cocoa Powder or Cacao Powder
  • 1 tbsp. Peanut Butter or Almond Butter
  • 1 tbsp. Chia Seeds
  • 10 oz. Almond Milk
  • 6 oz. Cold Water

Instructions

  1. Combine bananas, cocoa or cacao powder, peanut or almond butter, chia seeds, almond milk, and water in a blender. Puree on high until smooth and creamy, then serve.
