Heirloom Tomato & Burrata Salad
Ingredients
- 3-4 large Heirloom Tomatoes, sliced into wedges or thick rounds
- 1 pint Heirloom Cherry Tomatoes, halved
- 1 ball (8 oz) Angelo & Franco Burrata, torn or left whole for presentation
- ¼ small Red Onion, very thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons Oliver’s Own Everyday Arbequina Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 tablespoon Oliver’s Own Vecchio Balsamic Vinegar
- Fresh basil leaves, torn or chiffonade
- Kosher salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions
Arrange the large heirloom tomato slices or wedges on a serving platter. Scatter the halved heirloom cherry tomatoes on top. Add the thinly sliced red onion.
Place the burrata ball in the center of the platter for a striking presentation or tear it into smaller pieces and nestle them among the tomatoes.
Sprinkle tomatoes and burrata generously with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper.
Drizzle with Oliver’s Own Everyday Arbequina Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Oliver’s Own Vecchio Balsamic Vinegar. Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
Serve immediately with crusty bread to soak up the juices and dressing.
