- 8 fresh organic Black Mission figs
- 1/4 cup part-skim ricotta cheese(we love fresh Bellwether Farms Basket Ricotta!)
- Oliver's Own Wildflower Honey (found in bulk) or your favorite honey
- sea salt to taste(or fav is Maldon Sea Salt Flakes)
Wash the figs, then make 4 cuts in a cross shape on each fig with a sharp knife from the stem downwards, stopping a 1/4 inch from the bottom.
Place a large spoonful of ricotta in each fig.
Drizzle each fig on the top with honey to taste, sprinkle with salt to taste and arrange on a plate to serve.
