Brussel Sprouts with Bacon

Have you fallen in love with Brussel sprouts yet?

If you haven’t, start with this recipe. The Brussel sprouts are perfectly tender, but not mushy, and when accompanied by bacon you can’t go wrong!

  • Serves: 4-6
  • Prep Time: 15 minutes
  • Cook Time: 10 minutes


  • 4 strips Sonoma County Meat Co. Bacon
  • 2 tablespoons Clover butter
  • 1 pound Brussel sprouts, halved
  • 1/2 large onion, chopped
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper


  1. Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat until crispy. Remove to a paper towl-lined plate, then roughly chop. In same pan with bacon fat, melt butter over high heat. Add onions and Brussel sprouts and cook, stirring occasionally, unitl sprouts are golden brown, 8 to 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, to tast, and toss bacon back into pan. Serve immediately.
