A Fresh Partnership
Beginning with last year’s (2024) harvest, Oliver’s Market began their partnership with Saini Vineyards in conjunction with winemaker Bill Guadagni and Guadagni Family Vineyards. This team will now be producing our line of 10 Oliver’s Own wines, including a couple new varieties. The Oliver’s Own label will now include Rosé, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Zinfandel, Sangiovese, Red Blend, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Sparkling Wine.
“I speak for our management and the Wine & Spirits team when I say that Oliver’s could not be more excited about this new partnership,” said Josh Kirchhoff, Oliver’s Corporate Wine & Liquor Coordinator. “Saini Vineyards are fourth generation grape growers in the Dry Creek Valley, and are considered one of the premier grape growers in all of Sonoma County. The quality of grapes used to produce Oliver’s Own wines in our new partnership is exceptional. Sourcing for the entire line has taken a giant leap forward in terms of quality while still maintaining current shelf retails.”
Oliver’s Own wines will be produced with Saini Vineyards grapes, except for Chardonnay and Pinot Noir being provided by Guadagni Family vineyards. Bill Guadagni is the sole winemaker for all Oliver’s Own wines produced. “We are thrilled to have Bill leading our Oliver’s Own winemaking,” said Kirchhoff. “He is a young talent who is quickly becoming renowned in the Dry Creek Valley for producing some of the best wine the region has to offer.”
“We are thrilled about this partnership with Oliver’s Market”, said winegrower Laura Saini. “As growers and vintners, combining forces with the Guadagni family for this program allows us to be more AVA centric, which is great for quality and keeping sourcing local. Using small local family growers like us benefits everyone, including our employees and the local economy. The benefits of the partnership for Oliver’s Market and their customers in addition to amazing quality are consistent sourcing and more control of pricing.”
New and Upcoming Releases
Oliver’s Own Rosé, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, and Zinfandel have just been released to all Oliver’s store locations, with Oliver’s Own Sangiovese, Red Blend, and Chardonnay releasing in July. Oliver’s Own Sparkling Wine will be released in November. Oliver’s Own Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot will be released in February 2026.
The Oliver’s Own Wine Collection
Since the inception of Oliver’s Own Wines, the goal has been to offer our customers high-quality wines, carefully tasted and selected by our buying team, offering exceptional quality at prices that make them easy to enjoy with any occasion. Now with our new Saini/Guadagni partnership, sourcing will be from the best vineyards in Sonoma County, with most of the offerings sourced from Russian River and Dry Creek Valleys. As our Corporate Wine & Liquor Coordinator Josh Kirchhoff notes, “These are some of our best-selling wines and for good reason! The price/quality ratio is unmatched.”
