Watermelon Lemonade Granita

The perfect frozen treat on a hot day! Enjoy this 3-ingredient recipe all summer long!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. seedless watermelon
  • 1 c. Santa Cruz Lemonade
  • 1/3 c. sugar

Instructions

  1. Cut 1/2 of a seedless watermelon into chunks.

  2. Toss watermelon cubes, sugar and lemonade into a blender. Blend until pureed.

  3. If necessary, divide the ingredients into 2 batches to blend it all.

  4. Pour the frothy blend into a 9 x 13-inch pan, and set it in the freezer.

  5. After 1 – 2 hours in the freezer, pull out the tray and use a spoon to start scraping at the partially frozen slush. Contents should be a fluffy, icy consistency. If the pan is not entirely frozen at this time, stick it back in the freezer and pull it out an hour later, and repeat the scraping with the newly frozen watermelon mixture.
