  • Serves: 2 Brownies
  • Prep Time: 10 minutes
  • Cook Time: about 2 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 tbsp. Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 3 tbsp. Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. Baking Powder
  • 1 tbsp. Butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp. Vegetable Oil
  • 2 tbsp. Milk
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 tbsp. Chocolate Frosting OR 1/4 c. Chocolate Chips
  • Powdered Sugar (for dusting)
  • 2 (10-12oz) Microwave-Safe Mugs

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt; in a separate small bowl, whisk together oil, milk, melted butter, and sugar. Gradually stir dry ingredients into wet until a lumpy batter forms (if using chocolate chips, toss with 1/2 teaspoon flour and add now), then immediately divide between mugs. Add 1 tablespoon of frosting to each mug; do not mix.

  2. To cook, place 1 mug at a time on a plate lined with a paper towel and microwave on 70-percent power for 90 seconds. The brownies will expand rapidly and may boil-over, so use caution when removing from microwave. Wipe up any overspill immediately to prevent crusting. Top with powdered sugar before serving.
