Mixed Berry French Toast Bake

- 1 medium loaf day-old French Bread, cut into 1 inch cubes
- 6 large Eggs
- 2 c. Milk
- 1 cup each blueberries, blackberries, raspberries and halved strawberries
- 1/4 tsp. Nutmeg
- 1/3 c. Granulated Sugar
- 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
- 1/8 tsp. Salt
In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, sugar, vanilla, and salt. Place bread cubes in a large bowl; pour custard over top and toss to combine. Cover and refrigerate overnight or for at least 2 hours.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees, and thoroughly grease a 13"x9" baking dish. Add the berries to the bread, making sure that the berries are evenly distributed throughout. Transfer to the prepared baking dish and bake, covered, for 30 minutes. Remove covering and continue baking for 15 to 20 minutes, or until a sharp knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
