- 1 Oliver's Own Vanilla Pound Cake, sliced into 1 inch-thick pieces
- 6 tbsp. Unsalted Butter, melted
- 2 c. fresh, seasonal Berries
- 1 tbsp. Light Brown Sugar
- 1 tbsp. Lemon Juice
- Ice Cream, for serving
In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, combine the berries, lemon juice, and sugar. Cook until the berries have softened and have begun to release their juice, about 10 minutes.
Preheat grill or grill pan on medium-low heat. Brush the pound cake slices with melted butter, then grill until the cake is toasted, about 2 minutes per side.
Serve pound cake topped with berry mixture and ice cream, if desired.
