- Prime Rib Eye Steak
- 1 1/2 inches thick
- Kosher salt
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Rosemary or Thyme sprigs
Season the steak with salt. Let steak come to room temperature for an hour.
Pre-heat cast iron pan 10 minutes on high heat until it starts to smoke.
Cook steak for 5 minutes then flip. Add butter & rosemary or thyme to the pan and cook 5 to 7 minutes more, basting the steak with butter from the pan. Let steak rest for 10 minutes before enjoying.
