Easy Heirloom Caprese Salad

  • 3 Heirloom Tomatoes, on the larger side
  • 1lb. Fresh Mozzarella, sliced (1/4" thick)
  • 1 bunch basil
  • Estra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Balsamic Vinegar
  • Coarse Sea Salt
  • Fresh Ground Pepper


  1. Slice tomatoes about 1/4" thick. Slice mozzarella in same thickness as well.

  2. Layer alternating slices of tomatoes and mozzarella, adding a basil leaf in between.

  3. If desired, drizzle the salad with extra-virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar, to taste.

  4. Sprinkle salt and pepper to desired taste.
