  • Serves: 2 Pork Chops
  • Prep Time: 5 minutes
  • Cook Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 thick-cut Oliver's Natural Bone-In Pork Loin Chops
  • 4 tbsp. Butter
  • 3 cloves Garlic, smashed
  • 3 sprigs Fresh Rosemary, washed & dried
  • 2 sprigs Fresh Thyme, washed & dried
  • Coarse Seas Salt
  • Freshly Ground Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Pat down pork with a paper towel to remove excess moisture, then season liberally with salt and pepper. Heat a cast iron skillet until hot, then add butter to pan along with garlic, rosemary, and thyme. Add pork chops and sear on one side without moving, about 5 minutes. While chops sear, tilt pan to one side and spoon melted butter over top. Flip chops and repeat process.

  2. When chops are nicely crusted both sides, remove garlic and herbs from pan and place entire skillet in oven. Bake until meat registers 140 degrees in the thickest part of each chop, about 10 minutes.

  3. Allow chops to rest before serving, at least 5 minutes.
