Mycopia Mushrooms was founded in 1977 in Sebastopol, CA and was the first to commercially grow Shiitake in the USA. Initially, the farm grew just a few hundred pounds a week. In the following years, they stopped growing shiitake as other growers flooded the market, and have since expanded into seven other varieties of Organic specialty mushrooms, growing over 22,000 pounds a week. Their delicious and nutritious mushrooms are seeded, hand harvested, and hand packed daily, fresh from their farm to your kitchen table.
