Oven Baked Tandoori Chicken

At Oliver’s Market, we are proud to feature locally raised Rocky Chickens; on sale this week are Rocky Boneless Skinless Breasts for $6.49/lb.* Tandoori Chicken is a recipe that intimidates some, but this simple oven-baked version will make Tandoori a regular in your weekly recipe rotation. Featuring local product Straus Family Creamery Organic European Style Yogurt*, this is a delicious way to support two of our favorite local vendors here in Sonoma county!

  • Serves: 4-6 servings
  • Prep Time: 10 minutes
  • Cook Time: 40 minutes


  • 4-6 Rocky Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 3/4 cup Straus Family Creamery Organic European Style Yogurt
  • 1 - 11 ounce jar Patak’s Tandoori Paste


  1. In a bowl, mix together the Patak’s Tandoori Marinade Spice Paste and yogurt.

  2. Score the chicken breasts and spread the marinade over them, coating well on both sides. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.

  3. Preheat the oven to 350 °F.

  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and arrange them on a baking sheet. Bake uncovered, for about 40 min, until cooked through.

  5. Serve hot with rice, salad and grilled veggies.
