If the Hummus Guy's Garlic Pita Chips get any more addicting, I will need an intervention. I can barely resist the deliciously rich, garlicky, oily veneer on those thick, gnarled, super-crunchy pita pieces.
I'm currently infatuated with Yotam Ottolenghi's smash cookbook success, Jerusalem, and everything I've made from the book goes all-too-perfectly with those naughty, naughty pita chips. Homemade hummus with chopped cucumber salad, check. Burnt eggplant puree, check. Lamb with yogurt and mint, check.
The scariest thing about this pita chip obsession is that they are on REV for three whole months and are only $3.99 for a 14 ounce bag. Oh, man. Pray for me, and, oh, carry Altoids. You'll need them.
