Production Baker – Windsor

Position Overview:

The Production Baker position is part of a team producing a wide array of products for all bakery departments within the company: from decadence cakes, cookie doughs, cheesecakes, pies, quick breads, muffin batters, focaccia, puff pastry, and more. The Production Baker works to fill orders placed by the other bakery departments in a timely fashion, following appropriate prioritizing and time management by shift leader. The production team receives and puts loads away, with attention to proper product rotation. The production team also cleans the tools and equipment as used; sweeps, empties recycling and garbage at shift end.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:


Work well with and alongside others

Ability to communicate with managers and other staff members clearly and effectively

Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

Ability to be flexible and “go with the flow” of events

1-year baking experience required

Baking and mixing skills

Willing to taste and evaluate all products offered in department


Responsibilities & Qualifications:

Careful baking of quality pastries and breads

Production planning and forecasting for special events and holidays

Sanitize and clean equipment when needed

Maintain and organize department as well as receive and rotate incoming stock daily

Control spoilage

Able to produce product in a timely manner

Perform all other duties as assigned by Department Manager

Follow and enforce all applicable State of California Health and Safety Codes

Ability to perform physical requirements of position

Must be 18 years +
